Nothing unusual there, but what made the job particularly interesting was the lack of available lifting options presented to the engineers.

Because of the buildings constraints and the potential for disruption to the clients daily production, the solution was a custom made lifting rig designed and manufactured in house.

This allowed the safe removal of the machine components whilst ensuring the welfare of the engineers.

After rectifying some historical machine geometry problems as well, it’s now back in full production running better than ever. We were greatly assisted by Spen Valley CNC on this project.
